You are hereby notified that Felix Lardinois, Company K, 79th
Regiment, Ill's Vols is sick at General Hospital No. 2 in this city. You
will at once forward his "Descriptive List and Account of Pay and
Clothing" to the Surgeion in charge, as provided for by General
Orders and the Revised Regulations U. S. Army.
Par. 1250 Revised Regulations. "When a soldier in hospital is
detached from his Company so as not to be mustered with it for
"pay, his Company commander shall certify and send to the hospital
his descriptive list and account of pay and clothing, containing "all
necessary information relating to his accounts with the United State,
on which the Surgeion shall enter all payments, stoppages, and
issues of clothing to him in hospital."
General Orders No. 26, Par. 4, War Department--"When a man is
received in any hospital without his descriptive roll, the fact will be
immediately reported by the medical Director in charge to the
Military Commander, who will at once call on the Company
Commander, in the name of the Secretary of War, promptly to
furnish the military history of the man and his clothing, money, and
other acounts with the Government."

Know ye, that Felix Lardinois, a Private of Captain 1st Lieut.
moontaavill Reevs, Company K, 79th Regiment of Ills. Vol Infantry,
Volunteers, who was enrolled on the Fourth day of August one
thousand eight hundred and sixty two to serve three years or during
the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States
this ninth day of June 1865, at Lewisville, Ky, by reason of Ge. Order
No. 2 of Dept. Ky 1865.
(No action to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)
Paid Felix Landinois was born in Eastern in the State of France, is
Twenty Eight years of age, Five feet Five 1/2 inches high, sandy
complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, and by occupation, when enrolled,
a wagon maker.
Given at Luisvill, Ky this Ninth day of June 1865.
