Aaron T. Lane (Lain)

Company B, 120th Illinois Volunteer Infantry

Aaron was my GGGrandfather. He was in the Illinois Infantry 120th Company B under Capt John T. Moffett. I have searched in vain for a picture of Aaron but have not succeeded. He is on the the bronze tablet at the Vicksburg National Military Park. I have his civil war claim for pension from the archives and he asked that his name be Lane not Lain as on the roster and tablet in Illinois. His obituary is below and you have my permission to add it to your site if you wish. I am very proud to be his Granddaughter and want to bring him all the honor and respect he deserves.

From the Winfield Ks Courier of Wed, Feb 1, 1928.
